Phases of Adoption
The planning of a child by adoption can be more calculated than biological conception. The decision to adopt is usually more deliberate: ie., upfront fees, applications, background checks, hiring legal counsel, petitioning a judge … These are steps biological parents need not perform. The Lord used adoption to describe the relationship between He and His children. To fully appreciate this illustration, let us consider four phases common to both earthly and eternal adoption: Earthly adoption: Parents file applications, pay fees, and select The parents’ attorney goes before a judge, secures parental rights and a name change Parents take possession and bring the child home The child ...
Please Pray for Win Kuck and Family
Brother Win Kuck, Sister Laura Kuck (daughter of Elder Tommy Sarber), and their three boys (all five are members of Tippecanoe Church in Bourbon, Indiana) have recently moved to the Middle Georgia area. Unfortunately, the job transfer Brother Win was anticipating has not worked out. Please pray for this family that the Lord might bless them with a new job or that their needs would be met. This goes for all of those who have recently found themselves unemployed.

The Paschal lamb pointed to the Redeemer as the great deliverer from sin. I have no doubt but that Bunyan was right when he makes the temple, with all its services, a type of something better. Heb. 9:1-11. In this place we learn from the apostle that all things connected with the temple were "a ...
